Every business wants to grow, but not every business grows well. The difference often comes down to clarity — knowing what to focus on, why it matters, and how progress will be measured. When clarity is missing, growth feels chaotic; when it’s present, growth becomes steady and sustainable.

Docsora’s Approach to Security and Compliance

As businesses increasingly rely on digital workflows, the way organisations handle documents has never been more important.

Contracts, financial reports, legal agreements, intellectual property, and client information all move through document platforms every day. With that responsibility comes an expectation of security, transparency, and accountability.

From the beginning, Docsora was built with that responsibility in mind.

Today, we’re proud to share an important milestone in that journey: Docsora’s platform operates under internationally recognised security and compliance standards, including GDPR alignment, ISO/IEC 27001 certification, and SOC 2 Type I accreditation.

These frameworks represent more than badges. They reflect how the platform is designed, built, and operated since launching in September 2025.

Security Is Not a Feature - It’s Infrastructure

Security in modern software must not be treated as an add on.

For document platforms especially, trust must be built into the foundation of the system itself. Every file transfer, signature request, document upload, and workflow interaction must be protected by structured controls and governance. Which is why Docsora has decided to proceed on our compliance journey just a month after launching.

Docsora’s approach to security is based on three core principles:

  • Protecting customer data at every stage of the document lifecycle

  • Implementing structured operational controls

  • Maintaining transparency through independent verification

This philosophy is reflected in the compliance frameworks the platform operates under today.

ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Certification

Docsora’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) is certified under ISO/IEC 27001:2022, the internationally recognised standard for information security management.

This certification confirms that Docsora operates a structured framework for managing and protecting sensitive information.

The certification covers the design, development, hosting, operation, and support of the Docsora cloud-based document management platform, including services such as:

  • Large file transfers

  • Electronic signatures

  • Document storage

  • File conversion and compression

  • Translation services

  • Document tracking

  • AI-powered document analysis

  • Acorss the entire document management lifecycle in the services we offer

ISO 27001 certification requires organisations to implement rigorous controls across people, processes, and technology, ensuring risks are actively identified, monitored, and managed.

SOC 2 Type I Accreditation

Docsora has also achieved SOC 2 Type I accreditation, an independent assessment that evaluates the design of security and operational controls within the platform.

SOC 2 is widely recognised by global enterprises as a key assurance framework for software providers.

This accreditation confirms that Docsora’s security controls are appropriately designed to protect customer data and maintain system integrity.

It provides organisations with confidence that the platform operates within a structured and audited security framework.

GDPR Compliant

In addition to these certifications, Docsora’s platform is designed to align with the principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

This includes implementing controls around:

  • Data protection and privacy governance

  • Access management

  • Data handling procedures

  • Auditability and transparency

As organisations continue to prioritise privacy and regulatory compliance, aligning with GDPR principles ensures that document workflows can operate within modern data protection expectations.

Supporting Secure Document Workflows

Security and compliance are especially critical for platforms that handle documents moving between freelancers, consultants, organisations, teams, and external stakeholders.

Docsora’s platform supports secure document workflows through features including:

  • Detailed audit trails

  • Timestamped document activity records

  • Secure file transfers

  • Protected document sharing

  • End to End Encryption of files in transit

  • TLS 1.2 / 1.3 Enabled

Together, these controls help organisations maintain visibility, accountability, and security throughout the document lifecycle.

A Foundation for the Future

Compliance is not a one-time milestone. It is an ongoing commitment.

As Docsora continues to evolve, maintaining strong security governance will remain central to the platform’s development.

By aligning with globally recognised standards such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type I, and designing the platform around modern privacy principles, Docsora aims to provide organisations with a document platform they can trust. Docsora is currently undergoing an observation period to achieve SOC 2 Type II Certification - showcasing our commitment to data security.

Because when documents move, trust must move with them.
